Another banger!

Since Rema came into the Afrobeats scene and made a sound of his, dubbed as ‘Afrorave’, people have constantly narrowed his music to be all about women. But, is that all he sings about?

We curated six constants in every Rema song.

Let’s rave!

  • Another Banger

If there is one thing Rema is going to do, it’s release songs that become hits or as he prefers – bangers. This stopped being a debate after his song about Marvel superhero, Iron man made it to Barack Obama’s summer playlist.

  • Yansh Supremacy

Rema pays tribute to bum-bum any chance he gets. And just to make sure it is conspicuous, he made a whole hit song about it in ‘bounce’

Not just any ‘yansh’ though – it must be natural and big.

  • Bad Belle

From his rise to stardom to date, lots of critics have said he would not last and that he should sing about great causes. However, Rema does not send anybody and his songs reflect this. In his latest, “Are you there”, he explicitly made that clear.

Make everybody mind their business, abeg. And that’s period on Gen Z realness!

  • Alien words

🌚 Yea, you too ask yourself, how many of those words he mutters do you really understand? Not that it matters, we still gon vibe!

  • Bedroom thangs

Despite our star’s young age, Rema definitely has a lot of thoughts on bedroom activities or architecture. We say this because he sings about rounds and python moves from parlour to bedroom. But, what do we know? No further comments, Your Honour!

#TheGoodStuff serves up some light reading with 2 shots of humor and a dash of sarcasm. This edition reveals five things Rema never fails to sing about.
