Enter the gates with Thanksgiving
The church is a sacred place to fellowship with Christians and serve God–agreed.
Today, we will share these fellows you will find in any Nigerian church. Please, bow your heads as we name them.
1. Role Models
They tick all the boxes. The role models come early to church, volunteer in at least one department and always donate to whatever cause will spread the gospel.
2. Sleeping Legends
These people can sleep and miss the trumpet sound for the rapture. Anahn! Well, extend them grace. It is only God who neither slumbers nor sleeps.
3. The Prayer Warriors
What other way to describe the tension between these people and the church floor? They are always on the floor, whether for prayers, praise, or the Holy Spirit descending on them.
4. The Poco Lee
When King David in the bible said they would enter the gates with Thanksgiving, these people took it personally. Have you seen someone dance during praise before?
Just vibes on vibes. Ten, ten, ten across all boards!
5. Benchwarmers
These ones are just in the church to occupy space and exit after the grace. They are usually the type to press their phones while service is on too.
An usher somewhere is rolling their eyes right now.
6. Regular Testifiers
Every time the church announces testimony time, they will step out to appreciate God. If not for anything, for the gift of life.
7. Came To Charge
God, the children you called ‘the light of the world’ only want to light up their gadgets. They will fit everything that needs charging in a bag before considering their bible.
8. Panel Of Judges
Let’s give it up for the holier-than-thou that judge the behaviour and outfit others wear.
Perhaps they have not read their bible to the part where Apostle Paul said to remove the beam in their own eyes first before pointing fingers.
9. The Fashionistas
These kings and queens consistently bring their best clothes as offering to the Lord. Their outfits are always a serve.
