Fan base wars over the years has gotten more riské and has crossed borders. Even more interesting is that the celebrities tend to add petrol to the fire with their beef. The loyal fans then take it up from there. And omo, their ment is always on another level.
And now for the unveiling – meet the fan bases that are devoted preachers of war. Get into it, yuh!
1. 30 BG & Starboy FC
If you don’t already know, 30 BG are Davido fans while Wizkid fans are dubbed Starboy FC. Quarrels over the years have mainly been dominated by who has better lyrics, more awards and fills international venues like the o2 arena more.
Perhaps, the fans should review how deep reunion between Wizkid and Davido usually is after any beef. That’s brotherhood right there y’all!
2. Barbz & Bardi Gang
Barbz is to Nicki as Bardi Gang is to Cardi B. When Cardi B came into the game, many believed she would be a worthy rival of Nicki Minaj. However, barbz just wasn’t having it.
The fire of the stan battles was definitely fueled even more when Cardi B ended up with a swollen forehead when she tried to attack her at an event.
The Bardi Gang however got bragging rights when their fave bagged a Grammy when Nicki has zero.
3. Naija & Ghana Jollof Crusaders
For many years now, there has been an argument on which jollof tastes better – 9ja or Ghana’s? Many food shows have tried to compare these dishes and award a winner. But, who send them?
Even worse, Nigerians will never let Ghanaians live down the fact that a celebrity visited Ghana and started purging after eating their jollof rice.
4. Messi & Ronaldo Football Fans
Even though Messi has gone on to pursue coaching, the discourse on who the goat is between him and Ronaldo persists. Fans have drawn up a table countless times to compare the number of goals and Ballon d’or each of these famous footballers have scored.
In your own opinion though, who is the real G.O.A.T? Yes, I’m choosing violence 😌.
5. APC & PDP Followers
When it comes to elections in Nigeria, there is an unwritten fact that only APC and PDP are the real competitors. During election season, the followers of these political parties open the register of achievement and bad rap to spite one another like clockwork.
However, most of the fights have been steered towards which leader was less evil during their tenure 🥴.
6. BBN Housemate Stans vs Each Other
At the beginning of each season, fans naturally choose their various favorite housemates and stick with them.
However, once the fight to remain in the house with Biggie becomes real tough, the housemates bring out their fangs and it becomes drama at every turn.
The stans in turn start picking and overthinking every word that is uttered to their fave. That’s not all o. They go ahead to trend hashtags of how superior their fave is just to tension every other housemate.
