Ziyakhala Wahala!
The first edition of Big Brother Titans kicked off on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 7 PM (WAT) in Konka, Soweto, South Africa. The theme for the season is “ZiyakhalaWahala.”
20 housemates; 10 from Nigeria and 10 from South Africa, were introduced. Here’s all we know about them for now:
1. Khosi
Khosi, a 25-year-old journalist, is originally from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa and currently resides in Johannesburg.
She is currently dating a Nigerian man and considers herself to be a self-aware person.
2. Yemi Cregx
Yemi Cregx, a 30-year-old model and actor, is from Ekiti State, Nigeria and lives in Lagos.
He considers himself to be confident and outgoing.
3. Juicy Jay (Siya)
Juicy Jay, also known as Siya, is a 24-year-old semi-pro rugby player from the Eastern Cape in South Africa.
He loves to mingle and party.
4. Olivia
Olivia is a 23-year-old aspiring actor from Imo State, Nigeria.
She describes herself as a glam girl with a little bit of a wild side.
5. Nelisa
Nelisa is a 25-year-old from the Eastern Cape who stays in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Apparently, she is dynamite in a small beautiful package.
6. Blaqboi
26-year-old Blaqboi is a content creator and aspiring filmmaker from Plateau State, Nigeria. He lives in Jos and is a great storyteller and a terrible cook.
He will be bringing what he calls AC³: Action, Confidence, Creativity, and Competition.
7. Mmeli
Mmeli is a 25-year-old content creator and model from Hillbrow, Johannesburg, South Africa. He is fearless, street smart with a naughty streak–and almost resembles 2pac Shakur.
He enjoys partying and is devoted to his bachelor lifestyle.
8. Nana
Nana is a 23-year-old entrepreneur from Kaduna State, who had to drop out of school due to difficulties. She is excited to be on the show to help elevate her family’s situation.
She’s also single and ready to mingle.
9. Ipeleng
Ipeleng is a 25-year-old law student who lives in the Gauteng province, South Africa.
She loves philosophy.
10. Marvin
Marvin is a 29-year-old chemical engineer and model from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, but now lives in Texas, USA.
He is single and describes himself as a sexy boy with a great physique, brains, and a sense of humour to match.
11. Thabang
Thabang is a 21-year-old sports data analyst from Soweto, who lives in Johannesburg, South Africa.
He claims to be a go-getter who knows his game.
12. Jaypee
Jaypee is a 26-year-old nurse and model from Lagos State, Nigeria. She is a liberal lover of love and likes to take risks.
We are warned to expect to see a lot of cuddling from her in the house.
13. Yaya
Yaya is a 31-year-old plus-size model from the Eastern Cape, who lives in Johannesburg, South Africa. She is talkative and does not want anyone joking with her peace of mind.
You can expect to see a lot of skin from her.
14. Ebubu
Ebubu is a 28-year-old actor and model from Anambra State, Nigeria.
He lives in Lagos, is open-minded and is interested in the world around him and beyond. He’s an Albino.
15. Lukay
Lukay is a 31-year-old sales executive from KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa He is self-aware and brutally honest.
16. Jenni O
Jenni O is a 25-year-old Health and Safety specialist from Imo State, Nigeria. She lives in the USA, loves to talk and considers herself a straight talker.
She describes herself as a colourful daredevil with opinions and no time for nonsense.
17. Tsatsii
Tsatsii is a 24-year-old student from Pretoria, South Africa.
She claims she is a beauty with brains.
18. Kanaga Jr
Kanaga Jr is a 23-year-old model and aspiring actor from Abia State who lives in Lagos.
He came on stage with so much energy that he grabbed the microphone from the co-host, Lawrence Maleka, and said to watch out for him.
19. Justin
Justin is a 21-year-old photographer from Eastern London, South Africa.
He is a fun and easy-going person.
