Beauty boy to the world!

In November 2019, a video of a guy wearing lip gloss went viral and the reactions to it ranged from shocked to amused. Controversy followed, after which came acceptance, and then, some more controversy. But if anyone should be called a coconut head it should be Enioluwa Adeoluwa–the lip gloss boy.

Beauty Boy: A Good Time To Be Enioluwa Adeoluwa

Despite all the hate comments, controversy, and his busy schedule as a student, he kept on doing his BEAUTY BOY  thing which included creating makeup tutorial videos and discussing male grooming in general.

Today, Enioluwa has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with numerous endorsements; from becoming an influencer for Fenty Beauty launch, Nigeria’s first ambassador for Crocs, a member of the most coveted elite group of creators (The GENG), an ambassador of the European Union in Nigeria to joining the crew of MAC creators, just to mention a few.

In the space of three years, without conforming to society’s standards of beauty and gender roles, Enioluwa earned himself a seat with one per cent of the one per cent and is friends with people (old and young) that many would kill to be able to connect with.

His KFC endorsement deal that he got from showing his foodie side, among others, proves that being your authentic self can and will take you places.

Yep, it is a good time to be Enioluwa Adeoluwa. But even more perfect is that it is a good time to be yourself.

#Unsolicited is a segment for reviews and opinion pieces. This edition showcases how far Enioluwa Adeoluwa has come in the entertainment industry.
