Week two of BBTitans Ziyakhala Wahala!

There was no eviction during the live show on Sunday, 22nd January 2023, but a game played before and after the live show led to a new norm in the house:

Pairing

The housemates randomly selected names from bowls in front of them and were paired with those they picked. The twist is that whatever happens to a member of the pair during their time in the house (even disqualification ), also applies to the other–as long as the pairing is valid.

They even changed the names on the belt of every housemate to their pair names.

Here is the full pairing list:

Thabang – Nana = Thabana

Nelisa – Yemi Cregx = Yelisa

Juicy Jay – Olivia = Juiovla

Jaypee – Lukay = Jaykay

Justin – Yvonne = Juvone

Tsatsii – Ebubu = Royals

Kanaga – Blue Aiva = Kaniva

Yaya – Marvin = Maya

Mmeli – Jenni O = Jenne Li

Sandra – Theo Traw = Santheo

Blaqboi –  Ipeleng = Blaqleng

Miracle OP – Khosi = Khosicle

HOH & Nominations

The Head of House task was carried out in pairs, and Blaqleng became the Head of House while Yelisa were the tails of the house.

Nominations went down a few moments later and the following pairs were put up for possible eviction:

Yelisa

Juvone

Santheo

Royals

The HOH saved Royals and replaced them with Juiovla.

Weekly Wager

The theme of the week as given by Biggie was African Warriors. For their presentations, each pair was to create an Afrocentric garment, mask and shield.

This week the housemates staked 50% of their BB tokens with the same criteria as in week one. They put in more effort this week and it paid off because they ended up winning their first wager.

Biggie called their performance a reincarnation of Shaka Zulu.

Arena games

Kanaga Jnr. emerged victorious in the Lotto Stars-sponsored games, claiming a prize of $1000.

Ships

Boy oh boy! How many ships did we tell you about in last week’s highlight? Two? Well, make that inconclusive.

When it came to relationships, week two was a huge rollercoaster. The one ship we were sure of last week, KhoYemi, hit an iceberg almost as soon as we wrote about it.

In fact, you can now tie Yemi Cregx himself to four different ladies in the house–man on fire. Asides from that, the pairing has made it more difficult to understand what ships are or aren’t sailing.

One thing we’re sure of is that Lukay and Ipeleng have been having the week of their lives. Tsatsii and Kanaga Jnr, as well as Yvonne and Juicy Jay, have been getting along awfully well too.

The Nelisa and Thabang ship is one we’re looking forward to; passengers are onboard already, and we’re just waiting for the anchor to be pulled up so that the ship can sail.

Also…

After the Arena games on Friday, the housemates played Truth or Dare–it did not end well for many.

We’ll be with you soon enough for the results of the first eviction come Sunday 29th January 2023. Stay safe to avoid Wahala.
