Grand Theft Auto 6!
Remember the popular video game “Grand Theft Auto”? Well a couple of days ago, news broke out that there will be a new edition of the game and it will come with a number of cool changes. The first edition of the game was released in 1997. It has since evolved in terms of its graphics while the core gameplay has stayed almost the same.
Since the first edition, the game has almost 20+ other editions with the latest released in 2021 titled “GTA: The Trilogy- the definitive edition”. Well, a new edition of the game is expected soon and it will be called “Grand Theft Auto 6”. A whole lot of the information regarding it was released in an article published by Bloomberg which also highlighted the cultural shift at Rockstar games (the publishers of the game) and how it will affect the new outlook of the game.
One of the most interesting updates about the new edition of the game is that for the first time in the game players will have access to a female protagonist character. The female character will star alongside another male character in a story said to be influenced by Bonnie and Clyde. Fascinating right? According to the Bloomberg article, the game is still said to be at least 2 years away in terms of release but the location of the game is set in Miami–a fictitious version anyway.
Another cool thing to expect when the game is released is the fact that the development of the game won’t stop after it is released. The publishers plan on updating the game and adding new levels, cities, missions, and exciting stuff to keep expanding the game even after its release. Like Trevor Noah said while talking about the game on his show, “You might want to get all your affairs together before starting the game because you’re definitely not leaving your house after starting.”
The game has no official release date as of now.
