There aren’t enough days in the weekend

The best time of the week is finally here! Cheers to the weekend! Weekends are a great time to relax and relieve stress from work during the week sadly just as rightly said, there aren’t enough days in the weekend. This means weekends should be treated like they’re gold–because they are.

Here’s a list of seven things you should do this weekend:

1. Block Urgent 2k People

First things first, you must block all your regular urgent 2k beneficiaries. Don’t allow anybody to use their bambiala to spoil the weekend mood. Go through your contact list and block your younger siblings for starters (just for the weekend, please).

And if you are the one always begging for urgent 2k, meet MoneyAfrica for your own tips🌚.

2. Treat Yourself

You do not need a special reason or event to treat yourself. Just as Kizz Daniel rightly sung in Buga, ‘You don work you don try’ so spoil yourself this weekend. Order Chinese or better still eat out. When you’re out and they say, “Savings or Current?” don’t fret, tell yourself ‘I don work I don try’, punch in your debit card pin and chest the debit alerts that will follow.

This life does not have a duplicate. We meuve!

3. Go Outside

‘I enjoy my own company, yen, yen!’ Why then are you still reading this article? It’s about time you spiced up your routine. Even if you are an introvert, go outside and breathe in fresh air. You are already smelling like clothes that have been in a wardrobe for ages.

We know how expensive it is ‘being outside’ these days but there’s such a thing as having fun on a budget, trust us on this one. No one is saying you should go to Circa or Inagbe Island Resort. You could go see a movie or go swimming at a hotel close to where you stay.

If you have the money though, by all means, go all out.

7 Things You Should Do This Weekend

4. Watch Funny Videos

“Laugh away your sorrow, no matter the condition” is your mantra this weekend. If we have been unable to convince you to go out and have fun this weekend, then at least hear us out on this one; binge watch funny videos on YouTube and Instagram.

Stay away from the BBC and Channels for a while. We recommend you check out Mr Macaroni, Mr Funny and Mr Bean on YouTube; you’re guaranteed a good laugh.

5. Chill With Your Loved Ones

Time spent with family and friends is always time well spent. Do we even need to tell you about the feel-good hormones the body releases when you are with people you care about?

Invite them over for a change. We know you’ve missed them.

6. Sleep

If nothing on this list catches your fancy, just sleep. A reset button is always much needed after a hectic week of work. Put your phone airplane mode and sleep like a log of wood throughout the weekend.

Don’t forget to set an alarm to wake you up on Monday morning, you don’t want to oversleep 🙂. May we not tell stories that touch on Twitter.

7. Have A Sex Marathon

This point is for married couples only. We repeat: Married couples only. Apparently, sex is one of the best stress relievers out there. If you’ve been looking for the ultimate stress relief hack, this is it. We suggest you do it all weekend, if you can.

Remember to drink water, eat and rest in-between sha. Let it not be SabiTribe on your lips when you’re gasping for air 🙂. Unmarried couples, don’t call our name when God asks you questions on judgement day. We don’t encourage fornication, please😏.
