Some things aren’t meant to be
Whether anyone likes it or not, there are some things that just cannot and shouldn’t be forced. From friendships to humor, here’s a list of 8 things that can’t be forced in life:
1. Common Sense
Have you ever analyzed someone’s way of thinking and concluded they didn’t have sense? Same here. It’s just the ugly truth.
It’s either they have sense or they don’t. There is no middle ground. Like a saying goes, “common sense is not common”
2. Growth
Short of becoming a motivational speaker, you can’t force anyone to grow. Especially personal growth. It’s either they are ready or they aren’t.
Allow hunger enough time to work its magic on them though.
3. Talent
Some people are just naturally gifted. Look at Rema, he mumbles alien language in his songs and still makes a banger of it.
Whereas, some people will spend hours finetuning their craft and it will be wack. This life just no gel.
4. Money
If your head doesn’t like money, what do you want to do? Our advice? Cross seven rivers, seven tarred roads, seven untarred and lastly seven cracked bridges.
Don’t thank us, we are just pencils in the hands of the almighty creator.
5. Love
You can’t force anyone to love you. If it were possible, I would be the first lady of America by now.
So if the person you love no show you love back, cry small and do odeshi. That’s life for you.
6. Height
We hate to break it to you but no amount of beans can force a sprout in your height. Make peace with whatever feet you are now.
That or you invest in heels. No stumble and fall sha o.
7. Humour
Someone trying too hard to be funny will always be cringe. It’s either you have a good sense of humour or you don’t.
If you know people never laugh when you make jokes, consider this a sign to rest.
8. Character
Be it good or bad, character can not be forced. Even if you put up a facade, your real character will still shine through.
That’s why slang words like ‘low budget Rihanna’ exist. You can’t force pettiness neither can you force kindness.
