Give Bimbo Ademoye her flowers!

Many people are of the opinion that Bimbo Ademoye is underrated and the Tribe agrees with them. Bimbo Ademoye is an extraordinary actor.

In her eight years of acting professionally, she has been featured in 25 movies and shows. Take it from an unbiased fan, that woman is good!

To further prove our point, we share seven times Bimbo killed her roles (hopefully we didn’t leave your favourite out):

1. Bola In Sugar Rush

In this movie by Kayode Kasum, Bimbo played Bola, the over-pampered last-born who had the special talent of always putting her foot in her mouth.

She perfectly executes the menace that lastborns have come into this world to cause, which was beyond hilarious. Bimbo was a delight to watch alongside her real-life buddies: Bisola Aiyeola and Adesua Etomi.

Drumrolls, please! There may be more of “Bola” soon as Adesua and Bisola hinted at a possible Sugar Rush 2.

2. Todowede In Breaded Life

In the movie Breaded Life, which also stars Timini Egbuson and Lateef Adedimeji, Bimbo plays Todowede, a bread seller who is one hell of a character.

As you can imagine, Bimbo killed this role. She makes comedy and romance in privileged and less-privileged scenarios look effortless.  To top it all: her execution of the Egun dialect. She is a pro, Oroun!

3. Sekina In Selina

Selina is a rom-com about a maid who falls in love with her employer and tries not to look like a gold digger in the process. In it, Bimbo stars alongside Daniel Etim Effiong who is candidly after our hearts, and her crazy friend, Ehis Perfect, to deliver a three-part romcom that left us with only one question.

How could the producers be so wicked to end Selina in part 3? The nerve of them! Ughhhhhh!

4. AJ In Looking For Baami And Living With Baami

Featuring primarily in Looking for Baami and later, Living with Baami, AJ is one of the funniest roles played by Bimbo. AJ (Ajindeifeoluwa in full) is a young lady whose search for her father led her to a successful man who had no recollection of her.

With the way Bimbo breathed life and then switched souls with AJ, even Naksu of Alchemy of Souls would have marvelled.

5. Iya Barakkat In Teropi Secxxion

In this show, Bimbo perfectly executes her role as a quack, badly-spoken therapist with an  Ibadan tongue (shades fully intended). Iya Barakat has a terrible lisp, H-factor, and R-factor that affects her speech but takes no bite away from the blunt truth she tells her clients.

See, just get on your YouTube boots now to enjoy more of Bimbo on this hilarious show.

6. Arolake In Anikulapo

Here, she swaps trenches and glam for a historical queen, further proving to us that she is not made for one type cast.

Needless to say, the hype Anikulapo is getting now is also largely in part to Bimbo’s execution of Arolake.

7. Tinu In Tanwa Savage

Starring Uzor Arukwe, Linda Osifo, and Nkechi Blessing, Tanwa Savage is the story of a man who causes havoc with his penis in desperation for a child.

In this movie, Bimbo perfectly plays Tinu, a conniving gold digger. Although this was miles away from her usual sweetheart-type cast, she still massacred it.
