A walk down the memory lane

Where did these good old days go? When we were kids, we had zero worries–the only things on our minds were food and enjoyment. Nothing like social media rage. How many of us even had phones at the time? We were practically always glued to our TVs.

Anyways, hold tight as we bring back nostalgia with these TV shows that made growing up fun for us. Let’s go!

1. Papa Ajasco

You must have, at least once if not more, imitated Boy Alinco’s dance while singing along to the soundtrack.

2. Super Story

Basically, 8 pm Every Thursday on NTA was a time to look forward to.

Super story had us hooked–from the plot to the suspense at the end of each episode!

3. Family Ties

If you ever needed a weekly reminder on why to avoid polygamous marriages like the plague, it was this TV series.

4. Fuji House of Commotion

Wahala upon wahala in a house with several mothers and plenty of children, all for one man. The fight, comedy, and competitions were always on point.

Which of the Fuji characters did you relate to the most?

5. Project Fame

This show gave us stars and also gave the judges stress. Especially, during the preliminary stage when frogs would come and do wetin, we no know in hopes of also making it to the next round.

Talking about stars, do you remember Iyanya, Chidinma, Omawunmi, Timi Dakolo, Yemi Alade, and Dare Art-Alade emerged from this show?

6. Gulder Ultimate Search

The soundtrack alone could get you up on your feet. It was a show full of suspense and energy. I wonder why they stopped airing, even after they attempted starting the show again.

7. Face 2 Face

This show was just full of tenants having wahala, constant fights and scandals in every episode. More power to the elbows of those of you living in ‘Face-me-I-face-you’ in real life o.
