Enough of the Android slander!
Yes, today, we choose violence! For a long time, Android users have been catching strays left and right from iPhone users. I mean, look at this:
Well, the Tribe here to even out the playing field with this list of five distinct ways Android phones are better than iPhones. And no, pricing is not on the list because that’s obvious enough. If you’re an iPhone user, sorry dear, stay tuned for your own bragging rights – it’s coming soon.
Till then, enjoy this peppery stew.

1. Expandable storage
Android phones have a microSD card slot that allows its users to expand the phone storage with a single tap on the storage function. For iPhone users, it is another story entirely as there is no such thing for them.
2. Ports and battery life
Remember that time Apple launched iPhone 7 without a headphone jack? It pained iPhone users 😂 Now the trend has been picked up Android manufacturers as well but thankfully, you can still find recently released Android phones with headphone jacks.
Which brings me to my next point; ports. In a bid to stand out (by fire by force), iPhone ports are not normal. That translates to selective USBs, adapters and power banks.
To cap it all, iPhone users are constantly charging. Their batteries drain faster than Androids. And given how unpredictable power supply is in Nigeria, well, our sympathies.
3. Easy navigation
Android phones are easy to navigate and understand even for a non-techie person. Try giving someone who has used non-smartphones all their lives an Android and an iPhone. It will not be long before they frown and ask you to help them exit an app with the invisible back button on an iPhone.
For reasons beyond what this Tribe can fathom, iPhones are complicated to operate.
4. Easy File Transfer
On another episode of the easy life comes another banger titled the ‘easy file transfer’. Android users can easily send and receive files from other devices and PCs. For our brethren, the iPhone users, it is another series of gymnastics if you’re not sending to or receiving from an Apple device.
5. Freedom of customization
If there is one thing that tops this list from the bottom, it is the freedom Android users have with customizing or tweaking their phone to taste. From fonts to changing default apps, it’s a gold mine of possibilities. iPhones, on the other hand, make no room for such.
What you see is all you get. Period.
