A Mr Eazi-Otedola Affair
Yesterday, the internet almost went bizarre when Mr Eazi and his long-time girlfriend Temi Otedola announced that they were engaged.
We have a wedding to plan tribers! While SabiTribe can’t promise to get everyone a wedding invite, we can give you a sneak peek at some of the guests you can expect to see if you do happen to get an invitation.
1. The Money Pickers
This group of people will first come across as fire dancers until you notice that almost all their dance moves involve bending down and touching the floor.
While Femi Otedola and his billionaire friends make it rain pounds and dollars, they match the energy by stuffing as much as they can into their bottomless pockets as they ‘go down low’.
2. The Job Hunters
It’s all about networking and meeting the right connections for this lot. They will make sure to exchange pleasantries with all and sundry and in addition to handing out their business cards, will give out copies of their overly ‘garnished’ CV’s.
After all, if Dangote won’t come to the mountain, the mountain will come to Dangote.
3. The Gold Diggers
These ones will attempt to steal the show with their killer outfits. To them why waste time handing out business cards only to end up working for a billionaire when you can date a billionaire–or better still marry one.
Hold your billionaire fathers and husbands close; this group of people know gold when they see it and will do all it takes to get ‘their share’.
4. The DJ Cuppy Suitors
This category is made up of men who believe that ‘If Mr Eazi can do it, so can I’. These ones are there just for Dj Cuppy.
Whether the primary motive is to genuinely win Florence’s heart or to just find a way to become the son-in-law of one of Nigeria’s richest men; we don’t know but someone will definitely ‘Cuppy this tune’. If you know what we mean. *Clears throat*.
5. The NG vs GH Warriors
These are twitter fanatics who could care less about the wedding ceremony or the couple and more about continuing the Ghana\Nigeria online war.
Which culture was represented more? Which tasted better; Ghana jollof vs Naija jollof? Which music made people scatter the dance floor? Shatta Wale or Burna Boy?
