We’re still Finding Hubby!

Released in 2020 and based on the screen adaptation of a blog series by Tunde Leye, Finding Hubby tells the story of Oyin Clegg (a 35 year old lady), her friends and the various obstacles they face while trying to settle with the men of their dreams.

Before you conclude that we’re late to the party, we just thought to give you a recap of Finding Hubby Part 1 seeing as Part two was recently released. With a running time of almost 200 minutes for both the prequel and sequel, the plot dwells on the dating world as these women see it, the different personalities of men they meet as well as the societal pressure that comes with late marriage in this part of the world.

Though the plot is not without its loopholes here and there, the movie leaves a clear message of hope for the hopeless: somebody’s son will find you one day.
