Olamide! Baddo Sneh!

Olamide is unarguably ‘The king of the streets’ when it comes to hop culture in Nigeria. Baddo, as he is popularly called, has enjoyed undying love since 2010 when he released his debut single ‘Eni Duro’.

From the inception of his record label; YBNL, Olamide has helped multiple raw talents on the streets to hit the spotlight. Though, some are not currently under the record label.

In honour of Baddo Sneh’s 33rd birthday, we will look at a few of them:

1. Ololade Asake

Asake went viral on social media in 2020 with his song ‘Lady’. However, after being signed under YBNL, he released his first-ever Extended Play (EP) on the 17th of February, 2022. He has since been making waves especially with his single ‘Omo-Ope’ which features Olamide.

2. AG Baby

Adekunle Kosoko who was a two-time ‘rejectee’ at the MTN project fame audition and also a graphics designer for YBNL, became noticed by Olamide after he heard his song ‘Sade’. AG Baby spent two years at Olamide’s purview, learning the ropes of the industry which he has now mastered.

By the way, he was later invited to perform as a celebrity at MTN project fame.

3. Portable

The twenty-Seven year old father of one, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, alias Idamu Adugbo (Area Problem) was introduced to Olamide by Poco Lee. Olamide picked interest and called up for a song with him the following day.
