Which of these players do you think will move this summer?

The European transfer market is still open and we’ve seen more transfer deals trickle in the past few weeks. Some were unexpected while others were predictable from a mile away.

Let’s take you through some of the completed deals in the last few days.

CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN TO MANCHESTER UNITED

Manchester United has confirmed the signing of Christian Eriksen on a free transfer.

A few months ago, Eriksen had a health scare at the Euros when he collapsed on the pitch during a game. But, he made a comeback to competitive football with Brentford FC where he signed a 6 (six) months contract. He had an absolutely great half-season with Brentford, now, Manchester United has decided to snap him up.

LISANDRO MARTINEX TO MANCHESTER UNITED

Manchester United confirmed their third signing for this summer’s transfer window. Indeed, it is an exciting time for the club.

They signed Lisandro Martinez from Ajax Amsterdam for a fee upward of 50 million including add-ons. The Argentine has already signed his contract and could as well join the manchester United team in Australia for the pre-season tour.

He is an exciting defender with good football prowess. We really need to watch out for him in the next season.

RAHEEM STERLING TO CHELSEA

This had got to be the most surprising transfer of the season. Chelsea FC signed Raheem Sterling from the champions; Manchester City. The transfer was for a fee upward of 40 million.

The English man immediately joined the Chelsea team in the United States of America for the pre-season tour.  Raheem is another player to watch out for next season.

KALIDOU KOULIBALY TO CHELSEA

It seems like an exciting time for Chelsea fans as the giant club confirmed their second signing of the summer; Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli for a fee upward of 40 million.

The big Senegalese defender has also joined the team in the United States of America for the pre-season tour.

A pairing of Koulibaly and Thiago Silva for Chelsea screams stability and experience. That’s one defensive partnership to keep an eye on next season.

RAPHINHA TO BARCELONA

It’s getting more glaring that Barcelona isn’t broke after all. The Spanish club has completed the transfer of Brazilian player, Raphinha, from Leeds United for a fee upward of 60 million.

The controversy surrounding Raphinha’s signature lingered for months because he was rumoured to be going to Arsenal, and also Chelsea.

He has eventually put pen to paper for the Spanish team and has resumed training with them.
